Welcome to the newly reno-created site for the Randomization Network and Podcast! After many months of laziness and toil, I finally got around to actually fixing up the website. We have some big plans, so here’s a rundown of whats going down.
New Forums
After the migration of the Invision Free forums onto Randomization territory, the phpBB forums prospered for many ages. Although recently, we’ve come under attack. At first it was one spambot that signed up and posted some vulgar images, but that was fixed by adding a human check to the registration. But then, they grew more clever. Bypassing the human trick and registering anyway. They continued to attack until I finally got pissed and closed the registration all together. I planned to have the members smoothly transition onto the new forums he created for them, but I messed up again and they blew up. With the scattered remains, I bulldozed away the damage, put some sad music where the forums used to be, and made a link to the new and improved forums. Welcome.
New Website
First it was Freewebs. Then it was Podomatic, and finally, now it’s mine. Finally, I’ve been actually able to put together a multipurpose website for the Podcast and Network. It wasn’t as easy as you think it may be. Compatability issues, database crashes, code bugs, it’s been hectic. But now that it’s settled down (hopefully) for good, I bring you A NEW ERA!
Return of the Podcast
It’s true! The podcast will be coming back sometime in September! After months and months of not caring and slacking, it’s finally coming back. The old episodes are still available (from before YK and I went through puberty [lol]) but not on a feed. They are located to the right on the sidebar. The new podcast will be much more interesting, as it will be based around the line of our ‘newer’ old episodes in which we’ll have a list of topics that shall be gone through. Get ready for plenty of animu, mango, and randomness!
